My name is Katherine Kate but you can call me Katie. I'm currently an Accounting and Information Systems double major and I plan to minor in Asian American Studies. I am also a part of College Park Scholars and I wanted to document my AB experience as my capstone project. I knew I wanted to join a trip that helped those in poverty because I grew up in similar conditions and attend UMD under a need-based scholarship that has changed my life. With that being said, I'm excited to not only help but hopefully inspire the children we get to meet!
Although I'm known to be allergic to many things (nuts, seafood, dogs, cats, dust, etc) my family has a new edition, Jax (here is a picture of him doing what he does best).
